Mussoorie & Dhanaulti: light snow late December – February. Chopta & Kanatal: medium-heavy snow January – February. Auli: heavy snow late December – March (ski season). Munsiyari: heavy snow December – March. Peak snowfall window: 25 December – 20 February. Book 3 weeks in advance for Christmas / New Year.

Is Auli reachable in heavy snow?
Yes — Auli ropeway runs from Joshimath (16 km cable car) even when the road is snowed in. We use chained vehicles when needed.
Which snow spot is best for kids?
Dhanaulti and Mussoorie are easiest — no trekking, family-friendly hotels, gentle snow slopes.
Do you provide warm gear?
Hotels provide blankets / room heaters. Snow boots and jackets can be rented at Auli for ₹300–500/day.
